Description

The PA 230 is a compact, 2-channel amplifier with automatic ON/OFF functionality. It is designed for use as a zone amplifier in multi-room systems and in multi-channel public address systems. The PA 230 has compact dimensions and an output power of 2 × 30 watts at 4 ohms. The amplifier can be switched on and off either via the music signal (auto ON/OFF) or using the ON/OFF contact on the back. This means that the PA 230 does not have to be manually operated, making it ideal for use in combination with built-in speakers in difficult-to-reach locations such as suspended ceilings.

Up to four PA 230 amplifiers can be installed in the PA-T 1 U rack cradle in a single height unit in 19” racks. Signal sources such as computers or MP3 players can be directly connected thanks to the -6 dBu input sensitivity.
