Description
The PA 250 SD is a compact, remote controllable 2-channel digital amplifier designed for use in AV systems, multi-room systems and multi-channel PA systems. The PA 250 SD has compact dimensions and an output power of 2 x 50 watts at 4 ohms and/or 2 x 70 watts at 2 ohms. In bridge mode, it delivers output power of 1 × 100 watts at 8 ohms and/or 140 watts at 4 ohms, guaranteeing excellent sound quality at all times. The integrated peak limiters prevent distortion if the amplifier is overdriven. To enable remote control, the amplifier is equipped with an automatic switch-on function, an ON/OFF contact and VCA inputs for external volume control. The amplifiers can be controlled individually or in groups using the WP-V and RP-V volume controllers or the DV module and UP/DOWN contacts. This means that the amplifier does not have to be manually operated, making it ideal for use in combination with built-in speakers in difficult-to-reach locations such as suspended ceilings. Up to 4 PA 250 SD amplifiers can be mounted in 19” racks in a single height unit (in PA-T 1U). Input sensitivity can be switched from -6 dBu (for connecting computers, MP3 players etc.) to +4 dBu. |
