The PA-S 230 is a compact 2-Channel power amplifier with automatic switch-on (Auto-ON/OFF) for use as zone amplifiers in multiroom systems and in multichannel systems. With minimal dimensions, the PA-S 230 delivers an output power of 2 × 30 watts at 4 - 8 ohms. The amplifier has an automatic switch-on (Auto-ON/OFF) and switches to an energy-saving sleep mode if there is no signal for a long time. The amplifier can be completely switched on and off via the switching contact on the rear (EXT. ON/OFF). This allows the PA-S 230 to be used even in inaccessible places, for example in suspended ceilings in combination with built-in speakers, as operation of the device is not necessary. In the PA-T 1 U rack cradle, up to four PA-S 230 can be installed in a 1U 19“ rack.
