The RL 204 SN is a 2-way directional speaker with a supercardioid pattern for targeted acoustic irradiation in rooms with long reverberation times. By delivering strong directivity across the entire frequency range, the RL 204 SN primarily focuses sound on the listening zone and only causes minimum reverberation when sound is reflected from walls and the ceiling. As a result, it reproduces music and speech very purely and clearly with minimum feedback, even in rooms with long reverberation times.
Due to the way it is designed, the RL 204 SN has limited low-frequency characteristics. As a result, additional subwoofers should be used to compensate for this when playing music.
We recommend using a SUB 20 (A) or SUB 40 (A) subwoofer to supplement the bass range.
