Description The line array loudspeaker F 208 AlArray is a universal PA loudspeaker with electronically adjustable directional characteristic which can be employed both as an individual loudspeaker and in line arrays. The mid-high unit with 6 × 1" tweeter components and patented AlArray technology permits the electronic change-over of the vertical beam width from 10° to 30°. The 10° setting is envisaged for line-array operation. In this way it is possible to couple the F 208 AlArray seamlessly without any interference in the high-frequency range; at the same time the full beam width of the line array can be adjusted flexibly. At the 30° setting the F 208 AlArray can be operated extremely well as an individual loudspeaker with a dispersion angle of 120° × 30° (H × V). Here the ample horizontal beam width permits a very even coverage of the listening area. The AlArray technology with 6 neodymium dome tweeters affords very detailed, transparent music reproduction and maximum intelligibility.
