Description The F 8 A is a very linear 2-way active speaker with a compact multi-purpose cabinet. The heavy-duty 8” low-mid woofer and the precisely calculated CD horn for the mid-high range ensure undistorted reproduction with high efficiency levels and homogeneous dispersion behavior of 80° × 80°. The low-mid woofer is driven by a 400-watt class D amplifier; the tweeter by an 80-watt D-Mos amplifier. Thanks to the switchable low-cut filter (50/110 Hz), the F 8 A can be operated either as a full-range speaker or as a top unit with additional subwoofers. Due to the shape of the cabinet, the F 8 A also makes an ideal floor monitor.
