Description
The SUB 80 FLEX is a high-performance in-wall subwoofer with a flexible sound outlet. The subwoofer can be concealed within furniture, hollow walls, or ceilings. Only the sound outlet is visible. For wall/ceiling installation, round and square sound outlet elements—compatible with our DE 200 (Q) or DE-X 200 (Q) in-wall speakers – are available, including front grilles. For installation in baseboards, we recommend the flat FO 300 sound outlet element, which can be covered with a trim panel. The SUB 80 FLEX is equipped with four heavy-duty 6.5-inch long-throw drivers. For optimal performance and operational reliability, the SUB 80 FLEX should be operated with our DSP power amplifiers and the corresponding speaker preset. It offers a linear frequency response of 35 … 120 Hz (-3 dB) and a power handling capacity of 800 watts. The standard hose length is 700 mm. However, it can be adjusted from 350 mm to 1200 mm. Four M8 threaded inserts and the included MB 73 brackets are provided for mounting.
